Alfred Nikod\u00e9m<\/span> byl pra\u017esk\u00fd zlatn\u00edk a zakladatel sportovn\u00edho otu\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed v\u00a0\u010ceskoslovensku. Je po n\u011bm pojmenov\u00e1na nejstar\u0161\u00ed a nejzn\u00e1m\u011bj\u0161\u00ed tuzemsk\u00e1 sout\u011b\u017e otu\u017eilc\u016f, p\u0159i kter\u00e9 26.\u00a0prosince ka\u017edoro\u010dn\u011b plaveme ve Vltav\u011b u\u00a0N\u00e1rodn\u00edho divadla.<\/p>\n

K upout\u00e1n\u00ed pozornosti div\u00e1k\u016f volil i netradi\u010dn\u00ed metody – v ledov\u00e9 vod\u011b plaval ve vojensk\u00e9 uniform\u011b s pu\u0161kou na z\u00e1dech nebo s nohama v pytli. Poprv\u00e9 plaval o V\u00e1noc\u00edch v Praze ve Vltav\u011b se skupinkou otu\u017eilc\u016f v roce 1923. V roce 1928 u\u017e plavalo o V\u00e1noc\u00edch u N\u00e1rodn\u00edho divadla 63 plavc\u016f, samoz\u0159ejm\u011b op\u011bt pod jeho veden\u00edm. Naposled plaval Nikod\u00e9m o V\u00e1noc\u00edch ve Vltav\u011b v roce 1945. Poh\u0159ben je na Vy\u0161ehrad\u011b.<\/p>\n

Alfred Nikod\u00e9m byl v\u0161estrann\u00fdm sportovcem. Byl jezdcem, chodcem (absolvoval mj. z\u00e1vod Praha-M\u011bln\u00edk) i b\u011b\u017ecem. V roce 1925 absolvoval u p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitosti 75. narozenin prezidenta T. G. Masaryka \u0161tafetov\u00fd b\u011bh z Hodon\u00edna do Prahy v d\u00e9lce 305 kilometr\u016f.<\/p>\n
